Vienna – Kapsch TrafficCom has been informed that the Office for the Protection of Competition (UOHS) had cancelled the tender for a nation-wide truck toll system in Czech Republic. „I am glad that our serious concerns regarding the tender have been heard and that consequences have been taken“, comments Georg Kapsch, CEO of the Kapsch TrafficCom.
Kapsch TrafficCom has not been considered the cheapest bidder under the now cancelled tender.
Kapsch TrafficCom operates the current tolling system and will continue to fulfill its obligations. The running contract has a term of up to the end of 2019.
